If you haven’t seen this yet, have a look at this book. Zurn examines the legitimacy of constitutional review using a normative theory of deliberative democratic constitutionalism. It’s one of the greatest law books about today. In case you didn’t know, it’s published by CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS ,(one of the better publishers) and I’m going to give this a respectable rating of 4 out of 5. It could just be the book you’re looking for.
