I don’t know if you’ve seen this book. Looking at the dynamics of doctor-patient disputes, this book considers the contexts in which these disputes arise, the ways in which the parties construct disputing narratives and moral identities in the course of making and defending their claims. It is useful for students, researchers and academics involved in sociology of health and illness. My inclination is that it’s one of the handiest law books about today. I’ve always been a fan of books published by OPEN UNIVERSITY PRESS ,(one of the better publishers) and I’m going to give this a respectable rating of 4 out of 5. Even if it’s not exactly what you’re looking for, you can’t exactly grumble about the price for the amount of information you get.
