If you haven’t seen this yet, have a look at this book. The ICE Conditions of Contract, published by the Institution of Civil Engineers, is the main form of contract for civil engineering work in the UK. This book provides a commentary on the contract clause by clause, with reference to appropriate legal cases and legislation. I think you’ll agree that it’s the best law books around on this subject. In case you didn’t know, it’s published by BLACKWELL SCIENCE LTD ,a good publisher, so I’m giving this a rating of 5 out of 5. It could just be the book you’re looking for.
