If you haven’t seen this yet, today I’m recommending this book. Gives a funny account of just how the magistracy works at a time of great change. This book takes us on a journey into this extraordinary institution. It uncovers a remarkable act of national faith in the good sense of ordinary people, which says a great deal more about the strength and health of our democracy than is sufficiently appreciated. Without doubt this is one of the handiest law books available on this today. The company who publish it are called BLOOMSBURY PUBLISHING PLC ,so I’m rating this today at 4.5 out of 5. I’d be interested to hear how you get on with it if you do buy it.
